Getting to Your Wedding: Something Different

For many couples, part of their wedding "vision" is being transported "in style." The white, stretch limousine is the choice of most brides, but for others, something unusual is what they want. For every bride's wish, there is a company wanting to make her dream come true and making an effort to come up with something new and exciting. The choices of standard limousine spin-offs continues to expand, seemingly limited only by the car builder's imagination.

For those who believe that more is better . . . they and/or their guests can relax and enjoy the ride in comfort in a 52-passenger, chauffeur driven motor coach (limousbus), 55-passenger motorcoach, 24-passenger minibus, or a double decker wedding bus (for up to 60).

For those who want luxury and modernity . . . there is the Excursion Stretch SUVs that offer seating for up to 18 passengers, or an 18-passenger Hummer Stretch SUV,

For those who want luxury and elegance . . . there are the 12-passenger Super Stretch Lincoln, 20-passenger Cadillac Escalade Stretch SUV, a White Lincoln Limousine, Cadillac Deville Sedan, or a Stretch Jaguar and, as always, a white, black, grey, or navy limo.

For the lovers of yesterday vintage and those having a decade theme wedding . . . they can ride in a vintage, a vintage Cadillac, pink Cadillac convertible, Mustang, "razor edge" Triumph, 50's white Rolls Royce, stretch Excalibur, or a vintage Bentley. The vehicles have all been refurbished and retrofitted to include yesterday's charm and today's comforts.

For those who just want to have fun . . . a Jaguar, Lamborghini, or just about any outrageously expensive sports car will work.

In addition to an amazing selection of vehicles, companies have outfitted the vehicles with an array of amenities including bar service (with champagne), red carpet treatment, uniformed drivers, wedding horns, premium stereo sound systems, DVD players, TVs, video players, fiber optic mood lighting, star gated mirrored ceilings, and, of course, air-conditioning, heat and a "Just Married" sign.

Getting there and around creatively is the dream of couples for whom "unique" and "unusual" is what really works. For them, there are a variety of custom and specialty vehicles, including in-the-air vehicles such as a helicopter, or hot air balloon . . . and on the water, a hovercraft, rowboat, kayak, or paddle boat . . . and back on land, a white trolley, steam engine train, golf cart, antique fire engine, bicycle built for two (or more), snowmobile, motorcycles, and, of course, the ever-popular and elegant horse-drawn carriage, or coach with liveried footmen.
