If bucolic elegance is what tempts you, at Twin Lakes in Hurley, you can breathe the crisp, clear air. Walk on 60 country acres. Feast your eyes on two clear lakes. Hold your wedding in an outdoors banquet rooms that accommodates 180-250 guests. For accommodations, there are fourteen rooms for a total of thirty-one guests. In the woods, but never isolated. Just three and one-half miles from Kingston.
There are bed & breakfasts and inns that will host your wedding, or you can choose an unusual, or alternative reception facility such as Hera's Farm in Bearsville/Woodstock. On 16 acres with breathtaking mountain views, pastures, orchard, swimming ponds, streams and waterfalls, you can have your wedding by the pond or in the circle of the orchard. The large Barn and a hayloft are great for dancing and the small barn is perfect for your caterer. The Tralee Farm in Stone Ridge is both historically significant and country romantic. This Ulster County private equestrian estate features a stone colonial manor and an historic Gambrel Barn built in 1890, on 15 acres. The imposing, large white estate home is right out of a bride=s fantasy. The venue will accommodate anywhere from as few as eleven guests, for an intimate party, and up to as many as two hundred guests, comfortably and gracefully. It is the combination of fine food, excellent service, and the especially beautiful backdrop that makes The Inn at Stone Ridge/Hasbrouck House as successful and outstanding a location as it is. The Inn at Stone Ridge/Hasbrouck House is also a "Destination Wedding" site, albeit on a smaller scale. There are several rooms available for guests to stay and many fine B&Bs in the area.
